Red River! It's long, epic, educational, mystical, & captivating! I love historical, adventure, & shoujo & this combined them all. Both the art and story are amazing & it's one manga I'll never forget.

I think it is a difficult thing,

but I think, that I love Sailor Moon.

It's often the start of beeing interested in mangas/animes. I saw it as Anime when I was 10. After this many animes follow.

now ten years I still love it. Sailor Moon is the best (in my opinion :05b: :05q:

My favorite has to be From Far Away. It's a decently long manga, has action, adventure, romance... it has really captured my mind and heart! I still read all the volumes to this day and I can remember waiting every other month for a volume to come out in the US! I refused to read it online because I wanted to buy it~ Although, Sailor Moon is a pretty close second in the Shoujo category~

My favourite shoujos at the moment are Skip Beat and Hanakimi (which I consider to be one of the best cross-dressing mangas). I find that I'm slowly losing interest in the shoujo genre and turning more towards seinen. Hopefully something as interesting as Skip Beat is released soon!

My favorite shoujo manga is absolutely Vampire Knight :05q: I love everything about it! The characters, art, story etc. Yuki and Kaname are so cute and fit so well together. I have all the manga volumes that have appeared so far, I have seen the anime, witch I like too, but not as much as the manga. :05d:

My favorite shoujo manga ever is, I have to say, Sailor Moon. The first manga I read, so it holds a special place in my heart but the characters are just great (even the villains are interesting!). But I hated the anime though.

AWW I loved that manga (Shinshi Dōmei Kurosu). Haine is so adorable and the conflict with her love makes the story a lot more interesting than the generic titles... It's so difficult to pick one favorite though... I've seriously read like 129087 shoujos. For like a fluffy manga I really like Watashi ni XX Shinasai cause of the drawing style and just the way the characters are aborable. My all-time favorite is Skip Beat though! Ever since I bought the first volume... 6? 7? years ago, I've been in love. Kyouko is the best main character I have ever seen in a manga, with her personality and HILARIOUS quirks. Also the plot development is really deep and it includes humor a lot, which is a huge plus for me. And of course, I'm still a fangirl -guilty as charged- and I love the way she's oblivious (but not in an annoying way) to her pursuers.
The demon powers are a plus too. :05l:

Skip Beat

I really love Kyouko-chan. She is the best heroine I found so far in shoujo manga. She is unique and fresh. It's a character that stays in your mind after reading. When I first watched Skip Beat, I didn't think I would like it. I even gave up watching it for a while, but I decided to insist for a while and it was worth it.

Angel diary is my favorite manhwa. The plot of the story is very good. It's about a run away princess from heaven who came to leave on earth with a pervert best friend. The four guardians were sent to bring back the princess for her engagement with the king of hell. This is the reason why the princess run away because she never wanted to marry the king of hell. As time pass by her identity was revealed(to the four guardians only) and also found out that her best friend was the king of hell.
I don't know if the summary I made is understandable. But trust me if you read the manga I can assure you that it's a very very good manga , manhwa actually

Also read the manhwa Legend it's very good and also very addicting. :thumbsup:

Ikeyamada Go is one of my favorite mangakas because of her storylines and artwork are amazing. I've always been a fan of Moe Kare, so when I read this manga, I was thrilled. I really like the characters and even though it has smut in it, the maturity of the characters as the plot goes along gets better.

YES! Completely hooked on both! I've been buying the raws. XD

My top five list:

1. Full Moon Wo Sagashite. Been #1 for ten years. This doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon. XD
2. Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. Maron's the most awesome heroine out there.
3. Watashi Ni XX Shinasai. I go DOKI DOKI OVER IT. I LOVE Yukina and Shigure! The sexiest shoujo manga I've read by far. BY FAR!
4. Gakuen Alice. I love all the characters. This is rare for me. There's so much to explore...you just don't get tired of it!
5. Kamichama Karin. It's adorable. And it's funny. And it's pretty. Koge Donbo's my third favorite manga-ka and second favorite artist!

Others I REALLY like: Bloody Kiss, Tears of a Lamb, Sukidesu Suzuki-kun, Kodomo No Omocha, and Legend (manwha)

I think my favorites are Mars, Lovely Complex, Akkan Baby and KouKou Debut and currently i'm reading Ao haru ride which is SO GOOD (recommended).

Mars - is full of drama (It'll have you crying buckets) , an A student with a rebel boy.

Lovely Complex - The tallest girl in class paired up with the shortest boy in class.

Akkan Baby - Two friends just have sex with no feelings, and she get's pregnant so now it's time for them to grow up.

KouKou Debut - The main lead never had luck with boys so she gets a coach to teach her, the only rule "don't fall in love with me"... easier said than done.

Ao haru ride - First love that ends before it even begins, can they start again?

There are a few shojo manga titles that I like, and here's some:

Bride of the water god:
the artwork is amazing! and the plot is quite complex too, keeps things interesting! although i must say that at times, it is maybe too complex, hence may be kind of confusing. nevertheless, i still keep up with this manhwa! habaek X soah!! XD

MARS:
read this some time back, so i kind of forgot the plot. but what i do remember is that it is one amazing manga, it is deep and very very real.

Hana Yori Dango:
i just absolutely love this series. be it the manga, or the dramas, i love it all! i guess i like the strong shojo female lead and the fact that she is surrounded by 4 (supposedly) drop-dead gorgeous and filthy rich boys! (harem!) XD

Hikari no Pansy (Pansy):
this is quite an old shojo, and one that i read since i was young. so i suppose i also has some emotional attachments to it. the storyline is quite unique, and the drawing too. also a strong shojo female lead and a gorgeous male lead!

Swan:
another old shojo title, about ballet. it's about a group of talented and up-and-coming ballerinas, how they grow up not only in their ballet skills but also in their emotional and mental state. since it shows how the characters grow, i as a reader also feel how i grow alongside them. i suppose that's an aspect of the manga that i like!

BASARA:
another hidden jewel! i love love this series!!! i was and still is in love with this series! XD
